Where do you deliver?

How much does it cost?
There are several factors to consider such as the route to be covered and crew requirements of the vessel. Our prices start as low as $150.00 per day for favored cruising grounds and outstanding vessels. For extended trips, it may be in the best interest of both PacificCaptains and the yacht owner to agree on a rate based on mileage. Other expenses typically include our flights as well as necessary vessel expenses such as fuel, marinas, and transit fees when required. For vessels that are located in favored cruising grounds, we may only ask for expenses to be covered in exchange for extended cruising time on the boat. We would love to discuss the available options.
What type of safety gear is required to be on my boat?
The United States Coast Guard requires that you carry certain types of safety gear according to your boat’s size. Check out this Virtual Vessel Safety Check to see what you need USCG Safety Checklist. It is always wise to go beyond this and we usually bring some of our own gear as well.
What do I need to get my boat ready?
Look over this basic checklist to see what you may have missed. There is also a very detailed checklist for cruising.
What about insurance?
It is easy to add us to your yacht insurance policy. We have been approved as named insured through insurers such as London International Marine, Geico Marine, and Pantaenius.
What about bad weather or mechanical failures?
Any delays encountered due to mechanical breakdowns and/or weather considerations are out of our control. Decisions on mechanical breakdowns or weather are always made prudently with the safety of the vessel and the crew as the highest priority guiding such decisions.
Do you have an experienced crew?
Since we come as a team of two 100-ton masters we usually don’t need any additional crew. We have been working together for over 20 years. Please contact us and we would be happy to send you our CVs.
